Group Training Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This policy applies to private group training booked through a NEMT Standard quote. It works together with our Terms and policies.
1. Public classes come first
Most people train in one of our public classes. Private group training is for organizations that need a class of their own. If a public class near you fits your dates, we will point you to it first.
2. 6-person minimum
A private group class needs at least 6 students.
3. Roster and PASS Basic due 5 days before class
Through your secure roster link, register every student by 11:59 PM, 5 days before the first class: their legal name, the email they used for CTAA PASS Basic, and their PASS Basic certificate number. We check each student with CTAA. Only students verified with CTAA can attend.
4. Swapping students
If a student can't be verified with CTAA, you can fix their details or swap in another student until the roster deadline.
5. Forfeited seats
Seats that are empty or have an unverified student when the roster deadline passes are forfeited. They are not refunded and cannot be moved to another class.
6. Training wheelchairs
You provide the training wheelchairs used for hands-on securement practice.
7. Payment
Payment is by card only and is paid in full before class.
8. Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel, your payment is non-refundable. If NEMT Standard has to cancel a class, we'll offer you a new date. If we can't agree on a workable date within 30 days, you'll receive a full refund.
9. Travel fees
A travel fee applies only when the instructor travels to your location. There is no travel fee when your group trains at an instructor site.
